From Account to Connection

Cross-Border Connectivity Guide

Follow the order of account, plan, subscription, client and connection. Handle one task at a time, and move on only after it is complete.

ACCOUNT

Create a VPNWX account

Start by opening the account-creation page in the VPNWX user panel. No email address is required. Choose an easy-to-remember username and set a password used only for this service. After submitting, you will enter the user panel; if you are asked to log in again, use the username and password you just created. These login details are needed to check your plan status, get subscriptions, manage orders and submit tickets, so store them in a trusted password manager.

Creating an account does not connect the client by itself. The user panel stores orders and generates the subscription for the current account, while the client reads that subscription and connects to routes. Keeping these roles separate makes the process clearer: prepare an active plan in the panel, get the subscription, then import it into the client on your device.

If you remain on the same page after submitting, first check whether the username is already in use and whether both password entries match. Do not create multiple accounts in succession, because plans, orders and subscriptions belong to the account currently signed in. Once you can open the overview normally, continue to plan selection.

PLAN

Choose a plan and place your order

On the plans page, choose a monthly subscription or data package based on how you use data. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. They suit regular use when you want a fixed allowance each billing cycle. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days, so check whether your current tier is sufficient before upgrading.

Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. They suit irregular usage when you do not want data to reset monthly. Both billing options support unlimited simultaneous devices, but all devices on the same account share its available data. For households or multiple devices, choose based on total usage rather than a single device.

After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation page and check the plan name, data allowance and amount. Then select an available payment method—Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel; do not rely only on the payment-page message to determine the plan status. Confirm in the overview or order section that the plan is active. Once the status updates, the subscription section will provide connection details for the current plan.

VPNWX offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. This guide covers the main ordering flow; see the pricing page for detailed differences between plans, data-reset rules and upgrade rules. If the order status does not update for a long time, keep the order details and submit a ticket through the user panel instead of placing another order.

SUBSCRIPTION

Get the subscription link from the user panel

Once the plan is active, open the account overview in the user panel. Confirm the current plan and available data first, then find the subscription section. The subscription link lets a client read the routes associated with your account. It is not a public download URL and should not be posted in forums, chat groups or public documents.

Click Copy Subscription to place the link on your clipboard. Always obtain the real link from the user panel; this page does not display a usable subscription address. If you need to recognize the format, use only this clearly invalid example: https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. It cannot connect and contains no account information.

After copying, do not open the subscription link directly in your browser’s address bar. Switch to the client on the relevant device and paste it from the subscription-management screen. If you changed accounts, reset the subscription or signed out of the panel after copying, return to the overview and copy it again to avoid importing outdated content.

The user panel also provides client download links. Open its download section and, based on your current system, get the VPNWX client or the compatible-client instructions listed there. This static guide does not provide direct installer URLs, helping you avoid files that do not match your account status, platform or current configuration.

CLIENT

Import into clients on each platform

Control locations vary by platform, but the import process is the same: install a client for your system that supports subscription updates by URL, open subscription or configuration management, paste the link you copied, save it and update. Once the client reads it successfully, routes will appear by region or purpose. For the first connection, avoid changing protocols, routing or system-proxy settings; the defaults are easier to troubleshoot.

Windows

Use the Windows client provided in the user panel, or a desktop client that supports subscription URLs. Open Subscription Management or Configuration Management, choose Add from URL, paste the subscription link into the address field and save it. Then update the subscription and wait for regional routes to appear on the main screen. Select a route, enable the connection or system proxy, and continue to verification. If the client requests network access, confirm that the request comes from the VPNWX client you just opened.

macOS

Use a macOS desktop client that can manage subscriptions. On first launch, macOS may ask you to approve network-configuration access. After that, find Subscription Management in the menu bar or the client’s main window. Choose Add Remote Subscription, paste the link and update it. When the route list appears, select a general-purpose route for the first test, then switch to a route marked for Streaming or AI Tools as needed. Keep the client running while connected; do not terminate its background process.

Android

Use the Android client provided in the user panel, or a compatible client that supports remote subscriptions. Open the configuration or subscription page, choose Import from Link, paste the subscription and save it. After updating, return to the route page, select the required region and enable the connection. The first network connection will show a permission prompt; allow it so the client can manage network traffic on the device. If you change networks, reconnect from the client without importing the subscription again.

iOS

Use an iOS client listed in the user panel instructions that supports subscription imports. Open the client’s subscription or configuration page, choose Add from URL and paste the link. Save it, run one manual update and confirm that the route names appear before selecting a route to connect. iOS will ask to add a network configuration; approve it and the status bar will show the connection status. When your plan renews or routes change, update the subscription page instead of creating another account.

VERIFY

Connect to a route and verify it works

After importing the subscription, choose a route that matches your current purpose. Start with a general-purpose route for everyday access; for Streaming or AI Tools, choose a route carrying the corresponding label in the client. VPNWX covers 110+ countries and 180+ routes, including IEPL dedicated lines, transit routes and direct connections. You do not need to compare every route on the first attempt—confirm that one works, then adjust based on actual results.

Click Connect and wait until the client shows Connected. Then open a new browser page and visit this site’s network-check tool to review your current exit details. For comparison, check once before connecting, then reload after connecting. If the exit region matches the selected route and the target site loads normally, the client is managing the network connection.

Use a newly opened page during verification to avoid misreading cached content. If the browser still shows pre-connection content, refresh the page or close and reopen the browser temporarily. After the basic check, open the service you actually need. This helps distinguish a client connection issue from an isolated response problem on a specific site, without repeatedly reinstalling the client.

After a successful connection, you can keep automatic route selection or the default routing settings. Frequent route changes force downloads, sessions or API requests in progress to reconnect, so choose a route before starting work. If you only switched from Wi-Fi to another network, first see whether the client recovers automatically. If it does not, disconnect and reconnect in the client.

CHECK

Troubleshoot connection issues step by step

If no routes appear in the client, return to the user panel and confirm that the plan is still active. Copy the subscription again and update it in the client. Do not mistake a webpage URL, plan-page URL or example link for the subscription. The correct content comes from the current account’s subscription section. After the update, the client should show regional or purpose-based routes rather than only an empty configuration.

If routes appear but will not connect, switch to another route in the same region, then disconnect and reconnect. Next, check that the device time is accurate and that no other tools are managing network settings at the same time. Keep the client’s defaults during initial troubleshooting. Do not change routing, DNS, protocols and ports simultaneously, or it will be difficult to identify the cause.

If the connection status is normal but the target service still will not load, first visit a regular webpage and the network-check page. If regular webpages also fail, the issue is more likely with the client connection or current route. If regular webpages work but one service does not, try a route with the relevant purpose label. Streaming, AI Tools and general webpages have different exit requirements, so one route may not suit every use case.

If the issue persists, open the user panel and submit a ticket. Include the platform, the route name shown in the client, the stage where the problem occurred and the checks you have already tried. Do not paste the full subscription link in the ticket. For a more systematic overview of route types, billing models, device sharing and service selection, continue with the service-selection guide. Account, payment and common client questions are covered in the Help Center.
